Lucknow. To sharpen the preparations for the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified strategic brainstorming with the organization and allies. BJP national president Nitin Naveen held separate rounds of meetings with leaders of NDA allies and senior party leaders in Lucknow on Sunday. In the meetings, instead of seat sharing, the aim of a bigger victory in 2027 than in 2017, organizational strength and strategy to ensure victory on all 403 assembly seats were emphasized. National President Nitin Naveen first met the leaders of NDA allies at Hotel Taj. Nishad Party President and Minister Sanjay Nishad, SubhaSP chief and Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, Apna Dal (S) leader and Minister Ashish Patel and Trilok Tyagi from RLD were present in the meeting. After this, he held a separate meeting with former state presidents of BJP and discussed in detail the political situation, organization and social equations of the state. Former state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Swatantra Dev Singh, Mahendranath Pandey, Surya Pratap Shahi, Ramapati Ram Tripathi, Laxmikant Bajpayee and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya were present in the meeting. However, former state president Vinay Katiyar did not attend the meeting. When journalists questioned the minister and former state president Swatantra Dev Singh in this regard, he did not give any response. After the meeting, the leaders of the allies clarified that there has been no discussion on seat sharing yet.
Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad said that the entire focus of NDA is on registering a bigger historic victory in Uttar Pradesh than before. He said that all the allies are brainstorming on how to make each assembly seat a winnable seat. He said that as the elections approach, the discussion on election topics will naturally progress.
SubhaSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar also rejected the discussions about seat sharing and said that the national president is meeting all the allies separately and only the strategy for victory has been discussed in every meeting. He said that the aim of NDA is to contest elections strongly on all 403 assembly seats of the state and win more than 2017 seats. There has been no discussion regarding Chauri-Chaura seat or any other seat.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that BJP will form the government for the third consecutive time in 2027 under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He claimed that the people of the state are not in favor of goondaism, mafia rule, riots and dynastic politics but in favor of development, good governance and security.
State BJP President Bhupendra Singh Choudhary said that this is a purely organizational stay of the National President. He has given the mantra to the party officials to strengthen the organization for the upcoming elections and to convey the achievements of the government to the people. Targeting the Samajwadi Party, he alleged that its agenda is to divide the society on the basis of caste, language and region, which the people of the state have well understood.
Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that from Jan Sangh to BJP, the biggest strength of the party is its workers. He said that BJP workers rise above casteism, regionalism, individualism and dynasty and work with the spirit of nationalism and are committed to delivering the schemes of the Central and State Government to the last person.
