Bhilwara. Former councilor and district treasurer of BJP Lalit Aggarwal has been nominated for the post of President of Bhilwara unit of State Federation of UNESCO Association in Rajasthan, which is engaged in non-governmental activities of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Aggarwal’s tenure will be for 2 years (from 2025 to 2027) and the District Executive will also be formed soon. Mali said that UNESCO and the United Nations have an important role in achieving the goal of world peace based on the principle of non-violence, but many organizations are shattering our beliefs by creating violence, malice and hatred in the world society, therefore, by making the general public aware of these realities, the main objective of the UNESCO Club is to create a fear-free, non-violent society in accordance with the Indian ideal.
Lalit Agarwal, the newly appointed President of the District UNESCO Association, said that through the UNESCO public campaign, the common people will be educated and trained to resist violence so that feelings of peace and security can be developed in the society.
