Jaipur,. Under the able guidance of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is continuously working to establish Rajasthan among the leading emerging states of the country by building a strong AI ecosystem. In this series, ‘Build with AI’ workshop was organized in collaboration with Google India at Rajasthan Center of Advanced Technology (R-CAT) on Thursday. The initiative focused on creating the next generation of AI developers, innovators and tech talent in Rajasthan. Addressing the workshop, Dr. Ravi Kumar Surpur, Government Secretary, Information Technology and Communications Department, said that our collaboration with Google India reflects Rajasthan’s commitment to equip youth and startups with world-class technology platforms. He said that apart from creating new tools, we should also focus on optimizing our existing citizen-centric applications through AI integration to ensure better public service delivery and better implementation of public welfare schemes. He said that by transforming our developer ecosystem we will ensure that our state becomes globally competitive and a creator of next generation technologies. This intensive and practical workshop was attended by over 100 startup founders, developers, students, innovators, corporate leaders and government officials. During the workshop, they were given advanced training on Google’s cutting-edge AI tools, developer platforms, Gemini AI capabilities, APIs and cloud technologies. It also provided participants the opportunity to develop AI-powered applications, integrate AI into digital products, automate workflows, and create scalable technology solutions using Google’s AI ecosystem.
Google India representatives appreciated the enthusiasm, technical curiosity and innovation potential shown by the young developers and startup ecosystem of Rajasthan during the workshop.
The event also created a collaborative platform to connect startups, academia, developers, MSMEs and government stakeholders to explore future AI skill development, innovation partnerships and tech-driven opportunities for the youth of Rajasthan.
The successful conduct of this workshop is an important step towards building a strong AI innovation ecosystem under the Rajasthan AI/ML Policy 2026 and establishing the state as India’s emerging leader in Artificial Intelligence, digital talent development and next generation technology innovation.
