This year, the Char Dham Yatra is scheduled to begin on April 19. This holy pilgrimage is taking place on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Registration is required before starting the pilgrimage
Registration is mandatory for those traveling to Char Dham. According to the official website, the Uttarakhand government uses a GPS-based system to monitor registered pilgrims. This helps in ensuring the safety of pilgrims and controlling the number of people visiting each pilgrimage site. Additionally, the Char Dham Registration Card provides access to special facilities like food and accommodation provided by the government. Basically, this registration works like a travel e-pass card.

Upload a valid identity document.
Complete OTP verification.
Download your Char Dham Yatra Registration Form including QR Code.
How to register through WhatsApp:
Pilgrims can now register for Char Dham Yatra through WhatsApp also. Just send “Yatra” on WhatsApp to 8394833833. After this you will be asked to answer some questions, and the registration process for the four Dhams will be completed through the app.
How to register through toll-free number:
You can also use the toll-free number for Char Dham Yatra registration. Call the toll-free number 01351364. A representative will walk you through the entire process over the phone and help you complete the registration. Counter and Offline Registration

Important guidelines for Chardham Yatra
Private or commercial vehicles are required to have Green Card and Trip Card issued by Uttarakhand Transport Department. This card can be obtained from greencard.uk.gov.in website. Health advisory for medical check-up at high altitude places is mandatory for all pilgrims participating in Chardham Yatra.
