Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma met Union Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal, Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. in New Delhi on Thursday. Patil, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State for Education. During this, the Chief Minister discussed in detail the issues related to urban development, energy, water projects and skill development in order to give new dimensions to the development of the state. Chief Minister Sharma also held a meeting with senior officials during his meeting with Union Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal. In the meeting, a meaningful discussion was held regarding strengthening of power generation in Rajasthan in view of the immense potential to meet India’s solar energy targets. It was informed in the meeting that in the interest of farmers, the tower base compensation rate will be changed to D.L.C. The rate has been increased to 400 percent while the corridor compensation has been fixed at 30 percent in rural areas, 45 percent in municipal areas and 60 percent in municipal corporation areas.
Discoms’ AT Reduction in &C losses-
It was also told in the meeting that A.T. & C. losses are continuously decreasing. In this sequence, Jaipur and Ajmer discoms have now come below the level of 15 percent. Also, R.D.S.S. The pace of implementation of the scheme has been improved.
The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the Central Government for its cooperation in the energy development of the state. Besides, he also had a detailed discussion regarding the DPR approval of Phase-2 of Jaipur Metro.
Chief Minister’s meeting with Union Jal Shakti Minister-
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma met Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. During the meeting with Patil, discussions were held on water projects including water supply and water harvesting in the state. There was a meaningful discussion between the two regarding the progress of Firozpur Feeder Relining and Ramjal Setu Link Project. During this, the success of the ongoing Karmabhoomi Se Matribhoomi campaign in the state was appreciated.
Chief Minister’s meeting with the Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship-
After this, Chief Minister Sharma also met the Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary. During this, the roadmap related to making Rajasthan a skill development hub with the cooperation of the Central Government was discussed between Sharma and Chaudhary.
