Jaipur,. State Chief Secretary V. Srinivas paid a courtesy call on Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) Chairman Sivasubramanian Raman at the Secretariat on Saturday. During this, various topics related to National Pension System (NPS), Unified Pension Scheme (UPS), pension reforms and employee social security were discussed. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary presented the state’s side regarding the return of the accumulated fund of NPS on behalf of the state government. Also, various topics related to NPS and UPS options available to All India Services (AIS) officers and pension system were discussed. The Chief Secretary, while sharing the experience of implementation of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) in Rajasthan, presented the state government’s perspective regarding employee interests and social security. Various issues related to promotion of National Pension System, pension welfare and social security were also discussed in the meeting. Principal Secretary, Finance, Vaibhav Galaria and Director, State Insurance and Provident Fund Department, Hem Pushpa Sharma were also present in the meeting.
