With the aim of making the administrative functioning in the district more transparent and effective, Collector Lokbandhu conducted a surprise inspection of Tehsil Ajmer and DSO office on Tuesday. During this period, many employees were found absent from duty, on which the Collector directed the concerned officials to take immediate strict action.
During the inspection, the Collector took a detailed stock of the functioning of both the offices, record management and status of works related to the general public. He also received information about the progress of various cases from the officials present on the spot.
Collector Lokbandhu clearly said that offices like Tehsil and DSO are directly connected with the general public, hence any kind of negligence or laxity in work will not be tolerated here. He directed to ensure action as per rules against the employees found absent.
Along with this, the Collector laid special emphasis on speedy disposal of files pending on SSO portal. He directed the officers that the general public should not face any kind of problem and all the pending works should be resolved in a time bound manner.
He also said that ensuring transparency and accountability in government offices is the priority of the administration and for this, regular inspections will continue in future also. After this surprise inspection, movement was seen in the offices and employees were instructed to be more cautious in their work.
