Uttar Pradesh Congress State President Ajay Rai raised questions on the SIT investigating the theft of offerings from Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He said that when FIR is not filed in the case, then who will investigate? UP Congress Chief Ajay Rai said that earlier BJP people used to steal donations in the name of Lord Ram, now they are stealing land in Ayodhya. Congress party donates, does not steal offerings like them. BJP only steals donations.
He said that UP CM Yogi Adityanath reached the temple after we left. Even though he is talking about action and investigation. But, how will the SIT take action, when no FIR has been registered, then what is actually being investigated? This clearly shows that efforts are being made to create confusion among the people and mislead them.
The SIT also includes officer Vijay Vishwas Pant, who was the commissioner in Prayagraj when the stampede broke out there. Did the government take any action against Vijay Vishwas Pant? The officer against whom investigation is going on has now been included in the SIT. This proves that SIT has been formed only to give clean chit to some people. It will do nothing except give a clean chit.
Regarding NEET re-exam, Ajay Rai said what is going on. You can imagine that a girl from Bhubaneswar is being sent to Dehradun and a student from Nagpur is being sent to Abu Dhabi. This is the government’s system. The examination is being conducted, and such elaborate arrangements have been made for it that the help of the army is being taken. This shows that the government is playing with the future of children and is completely betraying the youth of the country.
Ajay Rai also held a press conference in Lucknow regarding NEET re-exam. During this, he attacked the corruption of the country’s education system and the BJP government. Ajay Rai said that despite the terrible tragedy of continuous leaking of papers of NEET and various competitive examinations from 2018 to 2026, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has not resigned taking moral responsibility, which the Congress Party strongly demands. Due to mental stress arising out of the recent NEET paper leak, 12 promising students from different states of the country have lost their lives.
Ajay Rai said that parents spend Rs 3.5 lakh crore in preparing for the five major competitive examinations of the country, which is equal to the total budget of the five major ministries of the country. Despite this, the current education system of the country has become a ‘rejection system’, which is able to provide jobs to only 12 out of a thousand students. To raise this pain of the students and parents of the country from Parliament to the streets, Rahul Gandhi has started the ‘Students’ Echo’ campaign. –
