Congress has become a party of abuses instead of Gandhian values: Shehzad Poonawala

New Delhi, May 24 (). Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala, reacting to West Bengal’s decision to amend the Bakrid holiday, said that TMC had been oppressing Hindus for a long time. Along with this he said that Congress has become a party of abuses.

Speaking to on the FIR lodged against Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said, “Congress has become a party of abuses instead of Gandhian values. Rahul Gandhi had recently called the Prime Minister ‘abuse’, after which his close aide Ajay Rai allegedly used abusive language against the Prime Minister. Later he claimed that this happened due to AI or other reasons. If we look at his past record, it is full of abuses.” It is being said that Congress has used more than 150 abusive words against the Prime Minister because he comes from an OBC and poor background and that is why he is being targeted.

Shahzad Poonawala said, “For a long time, the TMC government did injustice to Hindus to please the Muslim vote bank. Section 144 was imposed on Hindu festivals, Yatras were not allowed to go out and holidays were cancelled. At the same time, holidays were declared for many days on the festivals of the Muslim community. Now the BJP government has completely ended the politics of appeasement. Suvendu Adhikari’s government is taking steps against infiltrators. With this Vande Mataram has been made mandatory in Madrassas and schools. Today Hindus have as much rights as other communities. BJP works for everyone and does justice to everyone.”

Regarding the tension between SP-Congress, Poonawala said, “The rift between the Samajwadi Party and the Congress has once again deepened. Akhilesh Yadav has indicated that the Congress will not get much space in the alliance. On this, Imran Masood reacted sharply and said that Rahul Gandhi is the real leader, thus he indirectly challenged Akhilesh Yadav’s stand. Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav had said that the Samajwadi Party will contest on all 403 seats and his The focus is not just on winning seats but there is no clear goal and vision in the alliance. Congress has betrayed DMK, TMC, RJD and JMM.
