Lucknow . The Indian team refused to take the trophy to the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) president Mohsin Naqvi. Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput reacted to this development. He described the Indian players as lions and said that our team won by showing a brilliant game. He added, “I congratulate the women of Team India and the question of not taking the trophy as far as I believe that the trophy should come to our house.”
On the Karur stampede, Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput said, “There should be a CBI inquiry into the matter. The state police has clearly stated that Vijay and his party were forbidden to rally in Karur and that rally was to be transferred to another place due to security reasons, but despite this there was a rally there. The rally took place there. Vijay and his party are responsible for this stampede. Vijay should understand that the government and the law have to be accepted.”
When Amit Shah warns to surrender to the Naxalites, the Congress leader said, “The efforts that the Congress had made for this is now bringing color.
