Chandigarh. Haryana Congress President Rao Narendra Singh addressed a huge gathering of workers regarding the nomination of Sonipat Mayor candidate Kamal Diwan. A large number of Congress workers, officials and supporters were present on this occasion, due to which an atmosphere of enthusiasm, energy and enthusiasm was seen in the entire event. Speaking on the occasion, he appealed to the local people to make Congress candidate Kamal Diwan win with an overwhelming majority. On this occasion, State Congress President Rao Narendra Singh said that the Congress party is fighting the civic elections with full seriousness, strength and public support. The party is fielding candidates with a clean image, dedicated to public service and having progressive mindset, who can live up to the expectations of the public. He said that this time women have been given special priority in the civic elections.
Emphasizing on greater participation of women in local bodies, Rao Narendra Singh said that participation of women makes administration more sensitive, accountable and effective. Taking aim at BJP, he said that BJP only tries to take political advantage of women’s issues. He alleged that as part of a well-planned conspiracy, the BJP did not allow the Women’s Reservation Bill to be implemented and is trying to put the blame on Congress. This is a clear example of appeasement politics.
He said that Congress has always been committed to the rights, respect and empowerment of women. Reiterating the demand for early implementation of the Women’s Reservation Act passed in the year 2023, she said that women should get their constitutional rights soon.
The State Congress President expressed confidence that the Congress Party will win with majority in the civic elections of Haryana with the support of the public and will set a new direction for development and public interest in the state.
On this occasion, Rohtak MP Shri Deependra Singh Hooda, Sonipat MP Shri Satpal Brahmachari, MLA Indu Raj Narwal, Sonipat District Congress Committee Rural President Sanjeev Dahiya, former MLA Jaiveer Singh Valmiki, Jagbir Singh Malik, Surendra Pawar, Padam Singh Dahiya and Sukhbir Farmana, former candidate from Rai Shri Jai Bhagwan Antil and hundreds of workers were present.
