Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh is currently in the grip of diseases. In the last few days, children have died after drinking poisonous cough syrup. Now, an entire village has become a victim of poisonous well water. It is being said that the water in the well was bad, which caused this disease. About 150 houses drank this water, and 60 people suffered health problems.
Treatment is going on…
Chhindwara SDM Hemkaran Dhurve says that he tested 150 families, in which it was found that they had bad water. Later, many types of impurities were found in the water test. 60 patients were admitted to the hospital and are suffering from vomiting and diarrhea and their condition is critical.
What is the reason?
According to the SDM, four dead pigeons were found in the well from which the villagers were drinking water. These dead pigeons are the cause of filth. Apart from this, police investigation has found dead animals and birds in many other water sources. However, this is raising questions on the Panchayat, which believes that the drinking water sources, water tanks and wells have not been cleaned. Treatment will be given in a temporary hospital.
Considering the seriousness of the situation, the administration has set up temporary hospitals near the hospital and Panchayat Bhawan for the next two to three days. These relief camps have been created to provide special care and timely treatment to people in need. However, doctors believe that all the patients admitted are stable.
