Jodhpur. A heart-wrenching road accident took place on Jodhpur-Barmer highway on Saturday afternoon. Due to the collision with the roadways bus, the woman of the couple riding a bike died on the spot, while the seriously injured husband has been referred to Jodhpur with the help of an ambulance. As soon as information about the accident was received, nearby villagers reached the spot in large numbers and got angry and blocked the highway. Angry villagers demonstrated vigorously by burning tires on the road and demanded action. According to the information received, Ghumna Ram Meghwal, a resident of Gelawas, was returning to the village on a bike with his wife. Meanwhile suddenly the roadways bus hit me hard. The collision was so severe that his wife died on the spot. While seriously injured Ghumna Ram Meghwal has been referred to Jodhpur after first aid.
After the incident, there was a long jam on the highway and the police had to struggle to control the situation.
