CRPF Director General met DGP Rajeev Krishna during his visit to Uttar Pradesh, security cooperation was discussed

Lucknow, July 3 (). Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director General GP Singh, during his visit to Uttar Pradesh, met Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna and discussed various issues related to law and order, security management and policing. Both the officials shared the best practices and experiences being adopted to further strengthen security cooperation and better policing.

According to the information given by CRPF on social media platform X, in the meeting held between Director General GP Singh and Uttar Pradesh DGP Rajiv Krishna, constructive discussions were held on topics of mutual interest. Both the officers stressed on making law and order more effective and increasing coordination between security agencies.

Earlier, the CRPF Director General visited the CRPF complex in Amethi, where he inaugurated several new infrastructure facilities related to training and welfare of the soldiers.

According to CRPF, G.P. Singh inaugurated the newly constructed buildings at RTC Amethi. These include quarter guard and bin type magazines, administrative buildings, store block, recreation club, audio-visual room and subordinate officers’ mess. Apart from this, he also inaugurated the gas warehouse of GC Amethi.

During the visit, the Director General also planted a sapling underlining the force’s commitment towards environmental protection. CRPF said that promoting green and clean environment is one of the priorities of the organization.

During his visit to Uttar Pradesh, CRPF DG GP Singh met UP Chief Secretary Shashi Prakash Goyal. In this meeting, issues of mutual interest were discussed between the UP government and CRPF.
