Dausa. As part of Dausa District Foundation Day celebrations, a football match was organized at Bhavani Sports Club ground on Thursday. This match was played between Bhavani Club and Maan Club, in which the players participated enthusiastically and performed brilliantly.
The program started with the introduction of both the teams and the national anthem by District Collector Dr. Soumya Jha and other guests. After this, the District Collector formally started the match by kicking the football. During the match, the players of both the teams displayed sportsmanship and presented an exciting competition, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the spectators present. There was a good crowd of sports lovers at the venue and everyone encouraged the players.
District Collector said that football is being promoted in Dausa district under the “One District One Game” initiative under Panch Gaurav, which is an interesting and unique game in itself. He appealed to the general public to participate as much as possible in the upcoming programs organized on the occasion of the District Foundation Day.
District Council Chief Executive Officer Birdi Chand Gangwal said that the objective of this competition organized by the district administration is to encourage sports spirit among the youth and to celebrate the District Foundation Day enthusiastically. Appropriate arrangements were ensured by the concerned officials and organizers for the successful conduct of the event.
On this occasion, District President Lakshmi Raila, Subdivision Officer Sanju Meena, Additional Chief Executive Officer of District Council Rajesh Meena, District Sports Officer Manoj Sharma, Club President Rajesh Daglav, Omprakash Bapiwal, Club General Secretary Amresh Jakar and various officers, employees, physical teachers, club officials and sports lovers were present.
