On the occasion of the 26th death anniversary of former Union Minister late Rajesh Pilot, a huge tribute meeting was organized at his memorial in Bhandana on Thursday. In this program, thousands of people from different sections of the society including senior Congress leaders paid homage to the late pilot. During this, an all-religion prayer meeting was organized and the people present kept two minutes silence and prayed for the peace of the departed soul. Rajesh Pilot’s wife Rama Pilot and his son and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot were present in this emotional moment. Also, both the sons of Sachin Pilot, Aaran and Vihaan were also specially present on the death anniversary of their grandfather.
After meeting the media persons after the tribute meeting, Sachin Pilot gave a very measured and mature answer to the question of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot rekindling the ‘Manesar episode’ recently. Pilot said: “Just like the affection and affection that Ashok Gehlot ji has for his son Vaibhav Gehlot, the same affection and blessings are with me too. The message given by Rahul Gandhi ji of opening ‘Mohabbat ki Dukaan’ in the country, we all are working in complete unity to carry forward the same campaign.”
Sharp attack on the central and state government, raised the issue of NEET and paper leak. During the press conference, Pilot fiercely targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government regarding the current circumstances of the country and the state. He said that today the country is facing serious challenges.
Playing with the future of youth: Pilot expressed deep concern over the paper leak cases of dozens of examinations being held continuously in the country including NEET examination. He said that despite continuous rebuke from the Supreme Court, the government is not taking any concrete steps.
Inflation and failure on the economic front: He cornered the government over rising oil prices and demanded that the Modi government present its report card of the last 12 years before the public.
Democracy and conspiracy to suppress the opposition: Terming the incident of rejection of Jayanti Natarajan’s nomination for Rajya Sabha member as a ‘big political conspiracy’, he said that BJP is trying to suppress the voice of the opposition through illegitimate means.
Law and order and rural development stalled: Raising questions on the law and order of the state, Pilot said that incidents of Dalit oppression, crime against women, rape and firing are continuously increasing in the state, but the government is turning a blind eye. He alleged that new schemes are being introduced by changing the name of MNREGA, but development in the villages is completely stalled and farmers are being continuously ignored.

This meeting organized on the death anniversary of Rajesh Pilot is being seen in political circles as a big show of unity and strength of the Congress. Many present and former ministers, MPs and MLAs of Rajasthan Congress participated in the program.
Prominent faces present: Former minister B.D. Kalla, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, Jitendra Singh, Mamta Bhupesh, Hemaram Chaudhary, and Zaida Khan. Along with this, newly elected MPs Murari Lal Meena, Bhajanlal Jatav, Sanjana Jatav, and Bassi MLA Laxman Meena, MLA Ramesh Meena, Pali MLA Bhimraj Bhati, Amin Kagzi, Suresh Modi, and Mukesh Bhakar along with former MLAs Vedprakash Solanki, Dheeraj Gurjar, Prashant Bairwa, Indraj Gurjar, and Niharika Jorwal, hundreds of party officials, district heads, heads and thousands of workers were present.
