Deadly firing: Churu police took action within 2 hours, two accused arrested

Churu. On the instructions of District Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav, Taranagar Police took prompt action in the serious case of firing with intent to kill at home and arrested two accused within just two hours.



SP Yadav said that on Saturday, October 18, at around 11:00 am, Taranagar police station received information that firing had taken place at the house of Mahavir Jhajhariya, resident of Ojariya. As soon as the information was received, Police Officer Satveer Meena May Japta reached the spot and a case was immediately registered on the written report of the complainant. In view of the seriousness of the incident, Inspector General of Police Bikaner Range formed a special team under supervision near Additional Superintendent of Police Kishori Lal and Circle Officer Taranagar Rohit Sankhla.
Under the leadership of Police Station Officer Taranagar Satveer Meena, the team coordinated technical and intelligence and arrested the two accused who opened fire within just two hours of receiving information about the incident. After interrogation, accused Rajesh alias Chhotiya (25), son of Ramsingh and Satish Kumar (22), son of Phularam, residents of Ojaria, were arrested.
Both the arrested accused have been involved in criminal activities in the past also. After the arrest, advance investigation is going on, in which information about the purpose of firing and the weapon used will be gathered.
