New Delhi, January 4 (). Art of Living teacher Anmol Narang participated in the three-day Shabdotsav 2026 going on at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi on Sunday. He discussed Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s book ‘An Intimate Note to the Sincere Seeker’. He shared his thoughts on the power of words, the importance of Genji in nation building, as well as global unrest.
Anmol Narang spoke to on his experience of Shabdootsav. He said, “I felt very happy to be here. The Delhi government has organized it very well. In today’s times, where there is so much imbalance, so many wars going on around the world, so much turmoil in the minds of people, celebration is one way. This is the medium through which we can connect that energy in positive work. There is creativity in every person, such programs give him a direction. There is a great need for such programs.”
He said on the book, “These are 366 knowledge sheets of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji. Wherever Gurudev used to be in the 90s, he used to say something important all over the world, it has been compiled and made in the form of this book. It is a magical book. Open any page and read it, that knowledge is perfect for you at that time. I believe that knowledge is like detergent, which removes the stress of the mind. Stress is there. There are only clouds in the sky, if the clouds are removed the sky is infinite and blue.”
On Genji’s role in nation building, Anmol Narang said, “Genji is very clear. He is independent in his decisions, balanced from within, ready to move forward, has no fear and listens to his mind. But, attention span is short, results are needed quickly.”
He further said, “Spirituality is very important for every human being. It is the art of living, through which you connect with yourself and can do whatever you want to do.”
He expressed concern over the global unrest including Bangladesh and said, “Whether it is Bangladesh, Ukraine-Russia, there is war going on in 50-60 countries. In today’s time, we have associated religion with war, but Gurudev says that religion or spirituality is a deeper form. The message of every religion is the same, there is a supreme power, serve, work for the society. If we grasp that, then we can remove the difference between them. Connecting people, moving forward together, this is spirituality. Today the country I need spirituality the most.”
