New Delhi . The name of Udyog Bhawan metro station in the national capital Delhi has been changed. It has been named ‘Seva Teerth Bhawan’ station. The name of this metro station has been changed the next day after the Prime Minister’s Office shifted to ‘Seva Tirtha’. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had on Friday announced that the Udyog Bhawan metro station in the national capital will be renamed as ‘Seva Teerth Bhawan’ station. He said the purpose of the name change is to align the station’s identity with the larger vision associated with ‘Seva Teerth Bhawan’, signaling a symbolic change in the central administrative area of the capital. The name of the metro was changed the next day after this incident. Let us tell you that the existing Udyog Bhawan metro station is on the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) network. Located in the heart of central Delhi, the station serves several important government offices and is close to major administrative buildings. The name change has significance because of its proximity to many important ministries and offices. Due to its strategic location, the station is used by commuters on a daily basis, including government officials, employees and visitors.
‘Seva Teerth Bhawan’ station is a short distance from the Prime Minister’s Office. On Friday, the Prime Minister’s Office was also named ‘Seva Teerth’. Prime Minister Modi said on Saturday that the new Prime Minister’s Office has been named Seva Teerth. Seva, or the spirit of service, is the soul of India and is the identity of India.
He said, “The dedication of ‘Seva Tirtha’ reflects the deep commitment towards public service and welfare of the citizens. ‘Seva Tirtha’ stands as a bright and powerful symbol of duty, compassion and unwavering commitment to the principle of ‘India First’.”
