In the same sequence, the supernatural ‘winter sleeping’ decoration of Lord Lakshmi Narayan was done on Tuesday in Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple located in local Bhopalganj. In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, the Lord was adorned with a velvet white quilt and warm clothes and was adorned with love, seeing which the devotees became emotional. Temple Trust trustee Omprakash Aggarwal said that in view of the onset of winter, the age-old tradition of the temple was carried out. A special anointment of the Lord was performed early on Tuesday, after which He was covered with warm clothes and white quilts to protect Him from the extreme cold. During this time, the darshan of Lord Mukharvind seemed fascinating. A large number of devotees participated in the grand aarti organized after the adornment and at the end prasad was distributed. After the Aarti, melodious bhajans were presented in the temple premises, due to which the entire atmosphere became devotional. The devotees kept dancing to the tune of bhajans for a long time. Trustee Aggarwal further said that on Wednesday on Makar Sankranti, traditional pull of Mewar will be offered to God. Special events are organized by the temple trust on all major festivals including Ekadashi, Amavasya, Purnima. This glorious tradition of grand make-up and bhajan evening is being followed here with devotion for years. Many distinguished citizens and devotees were present on this occasion.
