दिग्विजय सिंह ने किया राजनीति छोड़ने से इनकार, बोले-कांग्रेस के लिए करते रहेंगे काम

Bhopal, May 29 (). Rajya Sabha member and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh has written a letter to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav demanding the reopening of girls and boys ashrams of Scheduled Caste category which were closed since 2016.

In his letter, Digvijay Singh, while mentioning the issue raised by Dr. Jawar Singh Agar, Provincial President of Tribal Welfare Department Hostel/Ashram Teacher Superintendents Association, said that the girls and boys ashrams run under the Scheduled Caste Department in various districts of Madhya Pradesh were closed in the year 2016. Due to this, the poor, deprived and students of Scheduled Caste category and rural areas are being deprived of the benefits of quality education and various welfare schemes of the government.

Due to the closure of girls and boys ashrams built for the welfare and upliftment of the Scheduled Caste category, the students of this category are being deprived of the benefits of education and government schemes.

He said that these ashrams were established with the aim of connecting the students of weaker and deprived sections of the society with the mainstream of education and providing them better opportunities. Due to their closure, the education of thousands of students has been affected and the process of social and educational development has also been harmed.

Digvijay Singh has urged the Chief Minister that keeping in mind the interests of the students belonging to Scheduled Caste category, necessary instructions should be issued to the concerned department to restart the girls and boys ashrams which were closed since 2016, so that the children of poor and deprived families of the state can get the full benefits of education and government schemes.

He expressed confidence in the government that the state government will take a positive decision on this subject keeping in mind the objective of social justice and educational equality.
