Chandigarh. Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the double engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is moving towards making the state the leading state of the country in the field of development. Work will be done to give new momentum to this campaign in the new year. Along with Antyodaya Utthan, the state government will work by focusing on the three basic goals of Antyodaya in this new year. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was addressing a press conference in Chandigarh on Thursday. Cooperation and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma was also present on this occasion. Naib Singh Saini said that the first goal of the government is to empower women. In this, it is the priority of the government to provide financial assistance to all eligible women through Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. Under this scheme, till now an amount of Rs 250 crore has been distributed to 8 lakh women in two installments. He has urged the women of the state to register under this scheme and join this scheme and avail its benefits.
The Chief Minister said that the second goal of the state government is to provide maximum employment to the youth. The government has prepared a driven road map for 2026. Under this, Haryana AI Mission Centers will be established in Gurugram and Panchkula and in these centers the youth will be able to become adept in future technologies like AI, intelligent robotics. The government is working on this. He said that today itself the advertisement for the recruitment of 5500 constables of the police department has also been issued.
He said that the state government has set the third goal of doing nature-friendly farming. Under this, farmers will be given incentives to grow other crops instead of paddy. Under this scheme, a target has been set to bring one lakh acres of land under natural farming.
The Chief Minister said that the government also aims to complete the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor rapidly in this year itself. This project will establish new dimensions of better connectivity, which will reduce traffic pressure in the NCR region around Delhi and accelerate industrial development. He said that the government will work to give impetus to many such new projects in the new year.
During this, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that for proper development of the area and improvement in basic facilities, the government has given municipality status to Kunjpura (Karnal), Matlauda (Panipat) and Shahzadpur (Ambala).
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary of Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Caste and Backward Class Welfare and Antyodaya (Services) Department G Anupama, Director of Information, Public Relations and Language Department Partha Gupta, Additional Director (Administration) Varsha Khangwal and Media Secretary to the Chief Minister Praveen Atreya were present.
