Effective action against those selling Chinese Manjha: Aaqib Khan arrested, 5 packets of Chinese Manjha seized

Jaipur. On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner of Police Jaipur North Karan Sharma (IPS), strict action is being taken against those selling and possessing Chinese Manjha. In this sequence, Galtagate police station has taken major action and arrested a young man selling Chinese Manjha. Deputy Commissioner of Police Karan Sharma said that under the order number P.35(1) Home-9/2020 dated 18 December 2025 of Rajasthan Government Home (Group-9) Department, a complete ban has been imposed on the use of dangerous manja which causes loss of life. In this regard, the general public was alerted by issuing a prohibitory order under Section 163 BNSS. All police station officers of Jaipur North district were directed to take effective action against those disobeying the order. Under the campaign, a special team was formed under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jaipur North I Neeraj Pathak, under the direction of Assistant Police Commissioner Ramganj Aditya Poonia and under the leadership of Police Inspector Dharam Singh, SHO Galtagate.
During surveillance in the police station area by the constituted team, Aqib Khan alias Kana son of Mohammad Shafiq, aged 23 years, resident of house number 634, Mohalla Imam Chowk, Bas Badanpura, Chardarwaja Bahar, Police Station Galtagate Jaipur, was arrested while selling dangerous Chinese Manjha containing plastic. A total of 05 packets of Chinese Manjha were recovered from the possession of the accused and confiscated.
Police have registered a case against the accused under sections 125 and 223 (A) BNS and started further investigation. Police have appealed to the general public not to use dangerous Chinese Manjha and immediately inform the police about its sale or storage, so that the safety of human life and animals and birds can be ensured.
