Television and filmmaker Ekta Kapoor uploaded a video on the Instagram Story section. In this, Ekta says, “After my recent controversy in advertisements, I want to publicly apologize to all the actors whom I said, ‘Your acting was not as expected.’ I am really sorry.”
In fact, recently Ekta Kapoor was seen in advertisements of many types of products. In one of these advertisements, he claimed, ‘Maine the world K-Drama Diya’, which was a gesture towards her famous TV serials ‘because Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’, ‘Kusum’ and ‘Pritha Rishta’.
In some of these, she was seen saying, “There were some artists who knew not even acting.” Due to this, Ekta Kapoor was very criticized. However, this advertisement has now been removed from social media, but Ekta Kapoor publicly apologized after seeing her own gritty.
On the other hand, Ekta Kapoor’s film ‘Jackfruit’ was recently awarded as ‘Best Hindi Film’ during the 71st National Film Awards. The film is produced by Guneet Monga and Ekta Kapoor. The film stars Sanya Malhotra, Anant Joshi, Vijay Raj and Rajpal Yadav. The film is directed by Yashovardhan Mishra. The story of the film is written by Ashok Mishra.
After receiving the National Award, Ekta Kapoor wrote in a post, “Celebrating the victory of National Award and Jackfruit is a magical moment for the entire team of Balaji. This story was composed to throw light on authentic, unique Indian narratives and today’s recognition makes this journey unforgettable.”
