Chandigarh. Haryana Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij today prayed for the peace of the soul of late IPS officer Y Puran Kumar. Vij reached his residence in Chandigarh today and consoled the bereaved family members. Vij first paid tribute to Y Puran Kumar by offering flowers on his portrait. After this, he met IAS officer Amanita P Kumar, wife of the late IPS officer, and expressed his condolences. Meanwhile, Vij also met other family members, including Amneet P Kumar’s brother, both the daughters of the late officer and Y Puran Kumar’s brothers, and joined them in their grief. In a brief conversation with media persons, Vij said that he has come here today to join the grief of the family members.
