Chandigarh Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij said that people are benefiting from health check-ups being organized at different places in Ambala Cantonment under Seva Fortnight. Various types of test facilities are available in these camps. Energy Minister Anil Vij said that from the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17 September to 2 October Lal Bahadur Shastri and Mahatma Gandhi, Seva Fortnight is being celebrated in the country under which many programs are being organized. He said that under environmental protection, cleanliness, blood donation camps and health check -up camps are being organized under cleanliness.
In this episode, health check -up camps have been organized at two places in Ambala Cantonment today, in which a health check -up camp has been organized at Harinagar Singh Sabha Gurdwara near Civil Hospital Ambala Cantonment and BD Floor Meal. He said that there are four mandals in Ambala Cantonment, in which all are organizing their respective programs.
A health check -up camp has been organized at Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Hari Nagar under Mahesh Nagar Mandal. Here the doctors of the civil hospital as well as the doctors of Mulana Medical College are also checking the health of the people. Along with the ECG, Lung Tests, all types of tests are being done free of cost and medicines are also being given free of cost. He informed that patients with serious illnesses being found during the health check -up camp are being referred to Ambala Cantonment Civil Hospital for regular treatment. A large number of people are reaching the health camp and getting their health checked.
Earlier, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij visited the camp at the Civil Hospital, inaugurating the ESI Health Care, Health Investigation Camp organized by the Labor Department and interacted with the patients. Hundreds of workers from the surrounding areas conducted health check -ups in the camp. On reaching Hari Nagar Singh Sabha Gurdwara, the local Gurdwara Prabhadhank Committee officials, BJP workers and others welcomed the cabinet minister. During this, he interacted with the people and took information related to their health.
Civil surgeon Dr. Rakesh Sahal and PMO Dr. Pooja as well as BJP officials greeted the cabinet minister by giving them flowers on reaching both places. Civil surgeon Dr. Rakesh Sahal, Dr. Pooja, City Council President Swarn Kaur, BJP leader Jasbir Singh Jassi, Bijendra Chauhan, Harsh Bindra, Puneet Sarpal, Aarti Sehgal, Surendra Bindra, Shyam Sundar Arora, Raman Chhatwal, Sudarshan Singh Sehgal, Varindra Singh, Vijay Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
