'Europe is my friend, but…': Trump showed a tough stance on Russian oil purchases, the international movement increased due to warning

US President Donald Trump is constantly taking a tough stand towards countries buying oil from Russia. On Tuesday, Trump gave a stern warning to Europe and urged that he should stop purchasing Russian oil immediately to prevent financing by Moscow for conflict in Ukraine. He said, “Europe is my friend, but Europe is buying oil from Russia. I do not want them to buy oil. And the ban they are banning are not enough.” Talking to reporters, Trump said that Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelansky should compromise to end the ongoing struggle. He said, “They (Zelansky) will have to come forward and compromise. Zelansky will have to compromise, and Europe will have to stop buying oil from Russia. They talk, but they have to stop buying oil from Russia.”

Are Trump pressure?

When reporters asked President Trump if they were pressurizing European and NATO countries to stop these imports, Trump said without any hesitation that he agreed, but the problem is. He said, “You know the problem. They are buying Russian oil.” He further said that he does not want these countries to buy Russian oil, and they have to stop it immediately. “This is injustice to us. They are buying Russian oil.”

Referred to deep hatred between Zelansky and Putin

Speaking about the Russia-Ukraine war, Trump called it a war that should never happen. He blamed deep enmity between the leaders of the two countries involved in this struggle. He said, “The country is in crisis, but I will stop it. I have stopped seven wars in eight months.” He said, “I thought this would be the easiest task, but it is not so. There is a strong hatred between Zelansky and Putin. But we will stop it.”

“I’m ready to move forward”
Recently, Trump called NATO and European countries to take strict action against Russia. Trump said that they are not working. NATO will have to unite. Europe has to be united. “I am ready to ban, but they have to tighten their restrictions to my steps,” he said. He said, “Clearly, until NATO moves forward, you won’t be able to move forward. I am ready to move forward, but they have to do it. But they are talking now, not working.”
