Chief Minister gave instructions to pay special attention to the time limit set in the projects.
Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that future needs should be given priority in projects related to urban development, so that every city of Rajasthan can become a new model of sustainable and citizen-centric development. He said that in the implementation of the projects, along with the quality, the prescribed time limit should also be kept in mind, so that the common people can get the benefit of these facilities on time. In a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s Office on Monday, Sharma directed the officials to speed up and complete the progressing projects related to roads, sewerage, solid waste management, sanitation, drinking water and housing in urban areas. Also, a model should be made for the construction of bus stands in urban areas, under which different categories should be determined according to the local need.
Pending judicial cases should be resolved, complete preparations should be made at departmental level.
Emphasizing on the disposal of pending judicial cases, the Chief Minister said that full preparations should be made at the departmental level for their speedy disposal and responsibility should be fixed in case of delay on the part of the department. In the meeting, the Chief Minister took information about the progress of Metro Phase-2, various flyovers, RUB and elevated roads of Jaipur city as well as the progress of road construction works, sewerage lines, sewerage master plan and drainage works of various cities. During this, he also gave instructions to prepare a plan for easy transportation and drainage system in Sikar city.
On this occasion, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Urban Development and Self-Government Jhabar Singh Kharra, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas and senior officials of the Chief Minister’s Office, Finance, Urban Development and Housing and Self-Government Department were present.
