Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the country is constantly progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and GST reform is a big example of this. Describing the GST reform’s decision as historic, the Rajya Sabha MP said that GST 2.0 will have economic empowerment of every section of the country. The Rajya Sabha MP said that those who are calling GST a political decision are wrong. They should come out of political glasses and appreciate it.
In response to a question, Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the new rates of GST are working to reach the people. Trivedi was asked whether the government would make any such arrangement that the companies should be issued a direction to put a list of new and old rates of GST on its outlet.
On the question of freeing Diesel and petrol GST, the MP said that this decision is taken by GST Council and for this the consent of all governments is necessary. In the case of vote theft, he surrounded the opposition parties and said that the opposition parties used to accuse EVMs earlier but they do not claim when they win the seats. Therefore, it is clear that the noise of vote theft is being done is nothing but propaganda.

In a press conference held at the BJP office in Lucknow on Wednesday, he termed GST 2.0 as historic and said that this decision will bring revolutionary changes in the country’s economy and become the medium of economic empowerment of every class.
