Jaipur. A very inspiring case of honesty and duty has come to light from the headquarters of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Rajasthan. A constable-driver posted at the headquarters has set an excellent example of morality in front of the department and the society by safely depositing thousands of rupees found unclaimed in the premises. According to the information, Constable-Driver Amar Singh working at ACB Headquarters, who is currently posted as Driver of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Administration, suddenly found ₹ 10,000 (ten thousand rupees) cash lying unclaimed in the headquarters premises on Tuesday. Usually, people’s resolve wavers after seeing unclaimed cash, but Amar Singh showed his integrity. Without a moment’s delay he immediately informed this to his superiors.
Constable Amar Singh, showing honesty, deposited the entire amount safely in the office of Superintendent of Police (Administration), ACB Headquarters as per rules. The main purpose of depositing this amount is so that by examining the CCTV footage or other means, its real owner can be identified and his deposit can be safely returned to him.
This sense of responsibility and honesty displayed by Amar Singh is being highly appreciated by the higher officials.
