Bengaluru, November 9 (). Ravichandran Ashwin has praised Jordan Harman, who has represented the South Africa ‘A’ team in two unofficial Test matches against India A as an opening batsman.

This batsman played an inning of 91 runs with the help of 1 six and 13 fours while facing 123 balls on Ground 1 of BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru on Sunday. During this, he added 156 runs for the first wicket with Lesego Senokwane.

By the fourth day of the second unofficial Test match being played in Bengaluru, South Africa A is close to victory. In the match, India A scored 255 runs in its first innings. Dhruv Jurel added 132 unbeaten runs in this innings.

In response, South Africa A was reduced to just 221 runs in the first innings. Jordan added 26 runs in this innings, while captain Marx Ackerman scored 134 runs in 118 balls.

The Indian team had the lead on the basis of first innings. This team declared the second innings on the score of 382/7.

In this innings, Dhruv Jurel scored unbeaten 127 runs for India, while Harsh Dubey played an inning of 84 runs. With this, South Africa-A got a huge target of 417 runs to win.

Jordan and Lesego Senokwane batted brilliantly and gave a good start to the visiting team. Both players scored 156 runs in 258 balls. Jordan scored 91 runs, while Senokwane scored 77 runs.

Till 73 overs of play, South Africa-A has scored 270 runs losing 2 wickets. From here the team needs 147 runs to win.
