Tanya recently married Aditya Gautam, a resident of Mohammadpur Kadeem village in Modinagar area of ​​Ghaziabad. This viral video was recorded during a women’s music festival on November 30, 2025. Tanya explains that women used to sing traditional songs during the “Munh Dheehi” ritual after marriage. Initially she used to sing on the dholak, but then on the insistence of her husband Aditya, she took up the guitar. As soon as Tanya started singing “Ek Din Aap Yun Humko Mil Jayenge”, the women sitting nearby recorded that beautiful moment and posted it on social media.

Little did Tanya know that a simple video would make her a national sensation overnight. After the video went viral, he started receiving calls from college students, relatives and acquaintances.

Tanya has had a connection with music since childhood. His mother sings very well and always wanted him to perform on a big stage. After 12th class, his brother and mother got him admitted to a music school in Agra, from where his formal musical journey began. Interestingly, he never learned guitar professionally.

During the Covid lockdown, he started practicing on his own with the help of his brother’s guitar and YouTube videos. Tanya says, “I had no idea then that this guitar would one day make me a national celebrity.”

Answer on veil debate

After the video went viral, some people started discussing the veil. Tanya clarified that this was not a compulsion, but a part of the bride’s identity, and she wanted to perform the entire ceremony as a bride herself. Smiling, she said, “I smile a lot, and I smiled again and again that day. I could sing comfortably with the veil on. My mother-in-law, who was sitting in front of me, was afraid of the evil eye, so she kept pulling down my veil.”
