Mumbai There was a tense situation in Santosh Nagar Market under Malad East Dindoshi Police Station due to a fight between two groups on Sunday night. When people were in their homes in Malad, suddenly a noise arose, the atmosphere deteriorated and within no time two groups came face to face. The dispute that started with an argument later turned into violence. The situation in Santosh Nagar Market deteriorated so much that Mumbai Police had to resort to lathicharge, in which two people were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to Trauma Care Hospital. Dindoshi police station has arrested 5 people and detained 3 minors in the case. Dindoshi police station has registered a case of inciting riots. Today the accused will be presented in the court. According to Dindoshi police, a case of scuffle and fighting between two groups came to light in Santosh Nagar area in the evening. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and tried to control the crowd, but when the crowd did not listen to the police, the police had to use mild force. According to the police, the situation is now under control. After the incident, police arrangements were deployed in the entire area.
Former BJP councilor Vinod Mishra alleged that some anti-social elements attacked Bajrang Dal workers. Unfortunately, when the injured were being taken to the hospital, the police lathicharged them. Even a minor was beaten by the police, leaving him seriously injured.
After the incident, DCP Mahesh Chimte said while talking to news agency , “Strict legal action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this incident. No culprit will be saved. The injured person will identify all the people involved in this incident and tell their names, on the basis of which further action will be taken. Maintaining law and order is our priority. We are investigating this matter with complete impartiality and seriousness and strictest action will be taken against the culprits.”
