People from the Muslim community had reached the spot to bury a dead body, but the local people opposed it. Local people say that some time ago a grave buried in this cemetery was left open. Due to lack of boundary wall, stray dogs took out the dead body, causing panic among children and nearby people.

Tension had spread over the burial ritual in the Charbagh cemetery of the district. Local people allege that the grave was not sealed properly. Earlier, dogs had taken out a dead body, causing panic among children and locals. As a result, when an attempt was made to bury him again on Thursday morning, the local people protested. Amid the protests, some people from the Muslim community allegedly tried to throw stones at a woman when she tried to stop them. Seeing the increasing tension, Bajrang Dal workers also reached the spot.

On receiving information about the incident, police teams from Linepar police station and Basai Mohammadpur police station reached the spot. The accountant of the area was called to inspect the land marked as a cemetery. The Muslim community was asked to build the boundary wall of the cemetery, to which they agreed and promised to complete the boundary wall within a year.

Police solved the case
The police resolved the dispute by talking to both the parties. During the conversation, the Muslim community assured in writing that the boundary wall of the cemetery would be built within a year. The police also directed to complete the construction within the stipulated time and appealed to maintain peace.
