New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Wednesday. During this he said that today you all have made this day very memorable for me. I am overwhelmed, grateful. He said that while chanting the mantra of ‘Charaiveti-Charaiveti’, seeing many ups and downs in this political journey, I had never thought that one day this stage would also come. I consider it my greatest privilege to have had the opportunity to serve as an elected Prime Minister for the longest continuous period. I am very grateful to all of you from the bottom of my heart for honoring me on this occasion and giving me so much respect. Prime Minister Modi said that getting the privilege of serving Mother India for such a long time could be possible only by the special grace of God. For me, public welfare is the form of God. That’s why I have seen service work as a spiritual practice. This sadhana has also not been solitary, it is a collective yagya, in which all your friends have contributed. Today I express my gratitude to all the companions of this journey.
He said that on this occasion, members of the NDA family have presented a proposal. I consider this not my personal achievement, but a testament to your generosity and our collective efforts. In every respect, this achievement belongs to all of us, it is equally the achievement of every member of NDA. Therefore, I dedicate this resolution to all the members of NDA.
He said that when NDA won in 2014, I had said that this has awakened new hope among the people of our country. It became a big responsibility for all of us to protect this hope. After being betrayed by Congress, the public reposed trust in us. I am proud and satisfied that as a member of the NDA family, we have made continuous efforts to strengthen and maintain the trust of the nation. When NDA won in 2014, I had said that today a hope has emerged among the common people of the country. It was the responsibility of all of us to protect this hope. The people of the country had given us their trust after the betrayal of Congress. Today I am satisfied and proud that as an NDA family we have always strengthened the confidence of the country.
He said that development is far away, Congress has dragged the country into scams worth thousands of crores of rupees one after the other. The fortunes of the country changed again when the NDA government was formed in 2014. The country saw how the pace of development happens when intentions, policies and decisions work together.
