Patna . Bihar government has made a major administrative reshuffle in the police department on Wednesday morning. Under this, four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been transferred and given new responsibilities. Apart from this, two Bihar Police Service officers have also been transferred. Bihar Home Department (Reserve Branch) has also issued an official notification regarding the transfer of these officers. According to the notification issued, 2012 batch IPS officer Ajay Kumar Pandey has been transferred from the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Surveillance Investigation Bureau, Patna, to Deputy Inspector General of Police, Prohibition and ANTF, Bihar, Patna, while 2018 batch IPS officer Prerna Kumar has been removed from the post of Superintendent of Police, Navgachia and given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police, Lakhisarai.
Similarly, Superintendent of Police of Prohibition and State Narcotics Control Bureau, Patna, Rajesh Kumar has been made Superintendent of Police of Navgachia and Superintendent of Police of Lakhisarai, Awadhesh Dixit, has been made Superintendent of Police of Bihar Police Headquarters Personnel-1 till further orders. Apart from this, two officers of Bihar Police Service have also been given new responsibilities.
Katihar Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cyber ​​Crime) Ram Krishna has been given the responsibility of Sub-Divisional Police Officer-1 Barh, Patna till further orders. Apart from this, Anand Kumar Singh, posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer-1, Barh, has been posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police, High Court Security, Patna.
The Home Department has directed that all officers should contribute to their new posting with immediate effect. This is being considered an important change at the administrative level. It is expected that law and order will be strengthened with the deployment of new officers. The government is continuously working to improve the law and order situation in the state.
