Today, a big protest took place at Jantar Mantar in the capital Delhi under the leadership of CJP founder Abhijit Deepke. In this demonstration, the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was demanded over alleged irregularities in the examinations and recruitment processes. A large number of youth took part in this demonstration which took place amidst tight security.
**It’s a long fight – Abhijeet Deepke**
During the demonstration, Abhijeet Deepke said that this movement will continue for a long time. He said that even though the demand for the minister’s resignation has been going on on social media for a month, the government is trying to divert attention instead of taking action. He alleged that his social media accounts were hacked and his posts were deleted. “You can remove our posts, but you cannot erase us from this place,” Deepke said.
**Main demands of the protesters**
The protesters not only demanded resignation, but also raised many issues related to the education system.
**1. Demand for training before digitization in education**
Radheshyam Kaithal, 50, said that digitalization is increasing rapidly in banking and education, but there is no system to check irregularities related to it. He said that bank frauds are increasing and its effect is also visible in the education sector. He demanded that before implementing the digital system, teachers should be given proper training and they should be fully prepared.
**2. Demand to normalize education system in Manipur**
Vinson, 32, a resident of Manipur and currently working in Noida, said that the situation in Manipur has not been normal for the last three years. Schools and colleges have been affected and students are facing a lot of difficulties. He demanded normalization of the education system in the state.
**3. Demand for transparency in competitive examinations**
Gayatri Singh, 34, resident of Jaipur, Rajasthan, raised the issue of NEET paper leak. He told that one of his relatives was preparing for Kota for three years, but due to paper leak, he got disappointed. He demanded credibility and fairness in the examination system. 4. Appeal to pay attention to the problems of students and parents
Raunak Kumar, 18, from Delhi, said that initially he was not sure whether to join the protest or not, but eventually he decided to come himself. He said that this organization is raising important issues related to students and parents.
5. Demand to pay attention to mental health
Psychologist Sugandha said that this movement is bringing people to the streets through social media platforms. He said that many students are going through mental stress and some have even committed suicide, yet no accountability has been fixed on this issue.

Hundreds of people, mostly youth, took part in the protest. Many protesters arrived wearing cockroach masks and carrying flowers in their hands. School and college students along with their parents joined the protest. A large number of school and college students as well as young professionals were seen in the crowd.
Growing demand for resignation of Education Minister
CJP raised several slogans at the protest site. The protesters demanded Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over the NEET paper leak, alleged irregularities in CBSE’s on-screen marking system and other irregularities related to the examination. Slogans like “Dharmendra Pradhan, resign” and “Jai Bhim” were also raised.
