A scene was seen in a small village in Gujarat which won the hearts of millions of people. Hundreds of cows are following a 9-10 year old boy named Kiran. Just as Krishna Kanhaiya used to call the cows in Dwapara Yuga, similarly the entire herd of cows runs towards him on his call. This scene is not just a video, but a wonderful combination of cow devotion and humanity. Kiran is not a big personality, but an ordinary village boy. He wakes up at 5 in the morning, serves the cows, milks them, then goes to school. After school, he returns to the cows. He says, “Cows are our family. Everyone has their own house, but our house depends on the cows.”

Kanhaiya of Kaliyuga: Love of Kiran and her cows
Kiran’s cows recognize him. He walks fearlessly among them, passing between their huge horns, and every cow looks at him with affection. Kiran says, “Cows never kill; they just want love. Whoever gives them love, they will give the same love.”
How is the lifestyle of Kiran’s family?
Kiran’s family belongs to the “Maldari” tradition, meaning people who have been taking care of cows for generations. Neither a big piece of land, nor any property, just cows and their blessings. “We walk 500-700 kilometers to graze the cows. We simply serve them in all three seasons – rain, winter and summer,” says Kiran’s father.
When Kiran’s video surfaced on social media, millions of people watched it. After watching this video which has 8-9 million views, prominent celebrities like Shilpa Shetty also called Kiran. Many YouTube channels shared it calling it “Kanhaiya of Kaliyug”. Kiran’s father says, “There is no pasture left anymore. The government should vacate the pastures so that the cows do not die of hunger.” His simplicity is evident when he says, “If the cow is hungry, we are also hungry. We eat only when she eats.”
