Aamir Khan Reaction On Gauri Spratt Religion: There is a lot of uproar regarding the third marriage of superstar Aamir Khan. A fatwa has even been issued against Aamir Khan for marrying Gauri Spratt at the age of 61. Along with this, Aamir Khan has been called a ‘criminal Muslim man’ and has also been called the ‘brand ambassador of Love Jihad’ and claimed that all three of his wives are Hindus. Now Aamir Khan himself has broken his silence on this matter.
On this entire controversy, Aamir Khan said in an interview to ‘Rediff’ that his wife Gauri Spratt is not a Hindu but a Christian and none of his wives ever changed their religion. He said, ‘The truth is that our family is a family that takes all religions together. Both my sisters are married to Hindus. My daughter is also married to a Hindu. My cousin Mansoor has married a Christian woman.
Aamir further said, ‘None of Gauri, Kiran or Reena changed their religion, because our marriages were done through civil marriage. Gauri is not even a Hindu, she is a Christian, and that too a Christian who does not follow religion very much. As time passes, life is becoming more fun.
Mufti Maulana Ibrahim Hussain said, “It is haraam for a Muslim man, for believers, to marry a non-Muslim.” Along with this, Maulana also raised questions on the actor’s repeated marriages and divorces. Taking Aamir’s name, he said, “This question is about film actor Aamir Khan. He has recently married a non-Muslim woman for the third time. There is opposition in the society regarding this. If a person cannot fulfill the responsibilities of marriage properly, then he should not marry again.” This video of Maulana is now going viral very fast on the internet.
