Rakhi Agarwal has written an emotional email to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get justice in the murder case of her son Ketan Agarwal at Lohagarh Fort near Lonavala. In the email, he has mentioned the grief of the family torn apart by the murder and has demanded quick and strict action in the case. Rakhi Aggarwal wrote that she never thought that she would have to email the Prime Minister to get justice for her son. He said that while every mother dreams of her son’s marriage, family and happy life, she had to perform the last rites of her son.
**Grandfather died due to shock**
He wrote that Ketan’s murder has ruined his entire world. Every corner of the house – her room, her clothes and her photographs – reminds him of her every day. He told that just a few days after the death of his son, Ketan’s grandfather also died, who could not bear the shock of his grandson’s death. Rakhi Aggarwal wrote, “Our family has lost two generations in a matter of days.”
**’Not sympathy, justice is needed’**
In her emotional appeal to the Prime Minister, she said that she does not want sympathy or any special concession, but only justice. He acknowledged that Ketan would never come back, but insisted that those who took his life should receive the harshest punishment under the law.
**’Don’t let this become just another case file’**
He also requested that the matter not be limited to just another case file. He wrote that Ketan was someone’s son, grandson and brother, and he was his whole world. Every night she looks at her son’s photo and prays that one day she can say, “Son, you got justice.” Rakhi Aggarwal urged the Prime Minister to ensure that there is no unnecessary delay in the investigation and trial and that the culprits are punished swiftly and strictly as per the law. He expressed hope that the voice of the grieving mother would reach the Prime Minister and her son would get justice.
