Gift of development to village Etawah on New Year: Jasbir Singh Bunty

Inauguration of interlocking power block work on Phirni Road at a cost of Rs 26 lakh**

Chandigarh. On the auspicious occasion of New Year, the development work of laying 80 mm interlocking power blocks on Phirni Road of village Etawah was formally inaugurated. This work is being done at a cost of Rs 26 lakh, which will provide safe, easy and sustainable transportation facilities to the villagers. The program started with Ardas by Baba Jasveer Singh Jassi who came from the village Gurudwara. He wished for the prosperity, progress and timely and successful completion of the development work of the village. After this, Etawah village head Trilochan Singh Bunty inaugurated the work by breaking the coconut and thanked the area councilor and senior deputy mayor Mr. Jasveer Singh Bunty.
Giving information on this occasion, JE Suresh Chandra said that this work of Phirni Road has been started from today and it will be completed within a month. This project has been duly approved under the tender process.
Malkit Singh, son of former Sarpanch Gurcharan Singh, said that the condition of Phirni Road was dilapidated for a long time, due to which the villagers were facing difficulties in transportation. Installation of interlocking power blocks will not only change the appearance of the road, but will also significantly increase the beauty and convenience of the village.
On this occasion, Sector-42 head Rajkumar Sharma sweetened everyone’s mouth and congratulated the villagers for the development work. At the end of the program, a collective prayer was offered for the happiness, prosperity and good wishes of the village and a langar of tea and samosas was also served.
Meanwhile, former Sarpanch’s son Ballu informed that a new ATM of SBI has been started near the mill in village Etawah. Now the villagers will not need to go to Sector-42 to withdraw money from the ATM, because this facility has become available at the corner of the village itself.
Many dignitaries including Mahendra Singh, Malkit Singh, Angrez Singh, Tinku, Rajkumar Sharma (Head) RCWA, Pawan Singla, Gurdev Singh, Ashfaq Khan, contractor Suraj Lal were present on this occasion.
