Girl students should recognize their talent and move ahead instead of following western culture: District Collector

Jhalawar. The annual festival, prize distribution ceremony and cultural program Jhankar was organized in the Government Girls College, Jhalawar on Friday under the chief hospitality of District Collector Ajay Singh Rathore. On this occasion, Principal of Government Post Graduate College, Ram Kalyan Meena was the special guest of the program. While presiding over the program, Charulata Tiwari gave a brief introduction of the college and the activities of the college in the welcome speech. Solo dance competition, group dance competition, strange costumes competition were organized in the programme. As the chief guest, the District Collector advised the girl students to stay away from social media and actually move forward by recognizing the culture with new technology. He said that we can move forward in life only with our culture, the girl students should move ahead by identifying their talent instead of following the western culture, the real meaning of Jhankar is that we have to stay connected to our culture and our soil.
During this, the District Collector praised the talents of the girl students. They were also given awards throughout the year. Preeti Bohra, district chairperson Lion, Pushpalata Dubey, All India Radio announcer and Renu Bala from the Education Department were the judges of all three competitions.
Ruchi Kulshrestha successfully conducted the program. Bhamashahs were honored on this occasion, Bhamashahs and journalist brothers were also honored in the programme. Dr. Rahul Suyan as Bhamashah who has donated two benches to the college and Rashmi Tongia Poonam Rotela, President of Women Wing Foundation, Ruchi Kulshrestha who has donated a podium to the college. On this occasion, Radheshyam Salodiya, an environmentalist, donated many saplings to the college and also supported the college by providing organic fertilizers.
In the solo dance competition, Priyanka stood first, Pracheta stood second and Divya Kalal stood third. In the group dance competition, Megha and group stood first, Abhita and group stood second and Priyanka and group stood third. In the quirky costume competition, Pracheta Vyas stood first, Priyanka Prajapati stood second and Prerna Verma stood third.
At the end of the program, cultural committee in-charge Harshit Sharma thanked all the guests and in the program Ajay Meena, Pravesh Kumar Chauhan, Dhapu, Vinay Yadav, Manoj Meena, Rakesh Sharma, Gopal Galav, Hemant Meena, Ramniwas Meena, Ramhet, Khushboo Vijay, Om Prakash Deora, Mahendra Singh, Govind Vaishnav, Rajendra, Nand Kishore Chakradhari, Jitendra Kumar Vyas, Rattiram Sharma, Abhishek. Rathod, Vikram had a dignified presence.
