Bhilwara. MLA Ashok Kothari has taken a big step towards providing permanent relief to Bhilwara city from the problem of water logging during the rainy season. Under his direction, the proposal of Master Drainage Plan for Bhilwara city was sent by UIT to the State Government. Which has been given administrative and financial approval by the state government. In view of the serious situation of waterlogging in various low-lying residential colonies, markets and main roads of the city during the rainy season, Bhilwara MLA Ashok Kothari had inspected these areas. He had instructed the officials of the Urban Development Trust to prepare a master drainage plan for leveling all the drains and drains to provide relief to the city residents. On which the officials of the Urban Development Trust selected the country’s best institute IIT Kharagpur for the preparation of the said plan and sent the proposal to the state government. This comprehensive proposal was approved by Rakesh Kumar Gupta (I), Deputy Secretary, Urban Development Department of the State Government, with the permission of the Governor. IIT Kharagpur will start work as soon as possible for a permanent solution to the problem of infrastructure and frequent water logging in the entire city with the help of state-of-the-art technology, in which the executive body will submit its report keeping in mind the geographical conditions and water level of the entire city.
Giving information about the project, MLA Kothari said that the said master plan will be made keeping in mind the planned development of the entire city while realizing the vision of new Bhilwara. With the approval of the said masterplan, the city residents will get a permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging and will also get relief from frequent damage to the roads. This approval is being considered as an important success towards strengthening the infrastructure of Bhilwara city and making the lives of the citizens easier.
