The 41-day Dhuni penance being performed by Saint Guru Lakhveer Das for the purpose of public welfare, prosperity of world peace and welfare of humanity at the Srinath Homes complex located on Suratgarh Road came to a grand end on Sunday in an atmosphere of reverence, devotion and spiritual joy.
A large number of devotees, saint lovers and distinguished citizens participated in the religious programs organized on the occasion of closing ceremony and received religious benefits. The program started in the morning with Vedic chanting and worship. After this, Havan-Yagya was organized, in which devotees made offerings and prayed for world peace, happiness, prosperity and human welfare.
During the Yagya, there was an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual energy in the entire premises. Saint Guru Lakhveer Das concluded the Dhuni penance with rituals. Saint Guru Lakhveer Das said that penance, sacrifice and sadhana are the invaluable heritage of Indian culture. He called upon all people to live life in the spirit of love, harmony, service and charity.
On the occasion of the closing ceremony, a huge Bhandara was organised, in which thousands of devotees took Prasad. The servants and devotees cooperated enthusiastically in arranging the Bhandara. The entire complex was attractively decorated and bhajan-kirtan and religious programs kept the atmosphere devotional. A large number of devotees, religious lovers, social workers and distinguished citizens were present on the closing occasion. The program ended with distribution of Prasad and collective good wishes.
