Jaipur, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani held an emotional and inspiration with the Indian migrant community in the UK at a ceremony held at the Indian Embassy in London during his stay in Britain. On this occasion, overseas Indians greeted Devnani enthusiastically.
India is making outrageous progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi – Speaker Devnani said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is setting new records on the world stage. India is constantly progressing as economic power in the world. India is also giving direction to the world with Indian rites and eternal culture. Devanani told migrants at the Indian Embassy in Britain that the Indian economy is reaching new heights with steps like GST reform, Digital India and self -reliant India. He asked the overseas Indians to stay connected with their birthplace India and maintain their contribution in India’s progress.
New Golden Chapter in India -Britain relations – Devnani said that relations between India and Britain are historic and now there is increasing intensity in relations under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the UK Art Free Trade Agreement is paving the way for low tariffs, detailed market access and strong economic partnership between the two countries. Entrepreneurs, investors and youth of both countries are also getting new opportunities.
Shared view on global issues – Devnani said in his ten -minute motivator, that India and Britain are working together on subjects like terrorism, environment and global stability. He said that India’s role is becoming decisive in every important decision of the world today.
Pravasi Day will be celebrated in Rajasthan on December 10: Shri Devnani said that the Rajasthan government is going to celebrate Pravasi Day on December 10. He urged the diaspora and cooperation to the Indians on this day.
The culture of India is our identity – Devnani said that the culture of India is our soul. Wherever Indians are, there is India’s consciousness. Overseas Indians are lively messengers of consciousness that spreads India’s reputation around the world.
On this occasion, many dignitaries including Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Sikkim Assembly Speaker Mangwa Noru Sherpa, Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato, British Parliament Karan Bilmoria, MP Mr. Krish Rawal, Principal Secretary of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Bharat Bhushan Sharma were present. Deputy High Commissioner Karthik Pandey welcomed Devnani and said that the Indian migrant community is always emotionally connected to its motherland.
