Bhopal . Holi, the festival of colors, is being celebrated with great pomp in Madhya Pradesh. From the political corridors to the streets, the colors of Holi are flying everywhere.
Holika Dahan was done on Monday evening but due to lunar eclipse on Tuesday, Holi is being played on Wednesday. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav played Holi with flowers at the Chief Minister’s residence in the capital. From cabinet members to BJP leaders and officials reached the Chief Minister’s residence where everyone played Holi with enthusiasm. People danced to the music and celebrated Holi by applying colors and gulal to each other. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav wished everyone a happy Holi and also wished for the progress of the state and prosperity of the common man.
On this occasion, Holi was played by showering flowers on the Chief Minister, while the Chief Minister also showered flowers on the people present there. Also, the Holi songs resonating here were a wonderful sight.
Whereas opposition leader Umang Singhar celebrated Holi with his supporters. On this occasion, he said that may this Holi fill your life with new colors of happiness, may happiness, prosperity and peace reside in every home, and may the sweetness of love, trust and mutual harmony remain in your family.
Similarly, Holi is celebrated in every part of the state. A group of hooligans are roaming around and drenching everyone with colour. Holi songs and music are echoing everywhere and people are dancing to the tune of the music, along with spreading colors along with Abeer-Gulal.
