Honor ceremony of former centenarian MP Pandit Ramkishan in Bharatpur

Bharatpur. In the felicitation ceremony organized on Wednesday in Bhasina village of Bhusawar tehsil, former Bharatpur MP Pandit Ramkishan was felicitated by a large number of dignitaries from far and wide on the completion of 100 years of his life and he was honored by wearing a soul scarf and flower garlands. On this occasion, farmer leader Indal Singh Jat, convener of Paani Andolan, was also honoured. A large number of people wished former MP Pandit Ram Kishan for a long life.


In the felicitation ceremony, farmer leader Indal Singh Jat said that the biggest crisis in Bharatpur district is of water and employment, ‘people are migrating from here and due to increasing unemployment, crimes are also increasing. He said that the density of population here is high and farming is small and its cost is high and there is no arrangement for irrigation water. He said that small pollution-free industries should be established in Bharatpur so that the youth can get employment. Farmer leader Indal Singh said that other districts are progressing more compared to Bharatpur. He said that Bharatpur district has suffered huge losses due to NCR and TTZ, now it should get rid of them. He said that now the Rabi mustard crop is about to arrive in the markets, the government should make all appropriate arrangements. He said that his struggle for water and employment will continue. He said that former MP and former MLA Pandit Ramkishan has always fought for issues of public interest in his life. Farmer leader Indal Singh said that Pandit Ramkishan is old in age but his courage is high, salute to his emotions. His thoughts ‘Dedication and struggle are unmatched. Even at the age of 100, former MPs remain more fighting than the youth.
In the felicitation ceremony, centenarian former MP Pandit Ramkishan said that the trade deal made between India and America was done under pressure and it will cause huge loss to the farmers. He said that I have achieved success in almost all the issues I have raised and agitated for so far, while ERCP is also one of them. People would not even imagine about ERCP, in fact some people would make fun of it. He said that ERCP was kept alive by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, but this plan was made and remember that water will also come in Banganga and the struggle of Maira and Indal Singh will continue for that.
Centenary former MP Pandit Ramkishan said that agriculture has the highest contribution in the country’s growth rate but the central government is continuously neglecting agriculture and reducing the budget, farmers are committing suicide. ‘Farmers’ movement is going on but BJP’s central government is not listening to the farmers. The farmer is in trouble due to debt. He thanked everyone for honoring him. On this occasion, the people of the area also welcomed and honored farmer leader Indal Singh Jat, who has been continuously fighting for the water movement since 2007.
In the program, District President of BKU Hari Singh Gurjar Kamalpura also expressed his views on the issues of farmers.
Many dignitaries including Rameshwar Jahanpur, Ravindra Moodia Jat, Heera Singh Amauli, Bhagwat Jatav, Ganga Sahay Pandit, Mahesh Gurjar Naiwadi, Ram Charan Patel Bhasina, Ghanshyam Ghazipur, Block Congress President Sugarh Singh Khairara, Councilor Man Singh Gurjar participated in the program. It was conducted by Indal Singh Jat.
