A gold crown was stolen from the Siddhpeeth temple of Maa Thawe Bhawani in Thawe of Gopalganj district of Bihar. The thieves entered the sanctum sanctorum of the temple with the help of rope and ladder and also took away the donation box weighing 50 kg. On getting information about this incident, the famous industrialist Akhil Prasad Srivastava, who donated the crown, was very sad. He says that Mother Durga will definitely punish this culprit. The accused has not only stolen the gold crown of Maa Durga, but has also hurt the faith of lakhs of Sanatanis.
Donation of Gopalganj industrialist
Actually, Akhil Prasad Srivastava, a resident of Manikpur village of Sadar block, had dedicated a gold crown to Maa Durga in April this year. He along with his wife Savita Srivastava had offered this crown to Maa Durga. It was made by the artisans of Jaipur.
He says that ever since he came to know about the theft, he has been feeling a strange uneasiness. Akhil Prasad Srivastava lives in Ranchi. He is a famous real estate and marble businessman from Jharkhand and Bihar. He still has ties with his village. His relatives live there and he frequently visits his ancestral home.

Speaking to TV9 Digital, Akhil Prasad Srivastava said that around 6 am on Thursday, he received a call from Mata Mandir that the gold crown offered to Mata Rani had been stolen. After receiving this news his heart became heavy. He was not able to concentrate on anything.
Akhil says that he has seen many ups and downs in his life, especially in business. However, he also says that whatever position he is in business today is due to the grace of Mata Rani. He had offered a gold crown to Mata Rani as a decoration. According to media reports, the weight of the stolen gold crown was about 251 grams and its value was about Rs 51 lakh.
He has also offered an umbrella.
Akhil also tells that he not only offered a gold crown to Mata Rani, but also offered a 250 gram gold umbrella in her service. However, at present it is kept safe in the bank account locker of the temple. The price of the umbrella offered five years ago was Rs 10 lakh.

Every year lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad come to this temple to seek blessings. It is learned that the theft took place late last night.
