Patna . The Congress Working Committee is meeting on Wednesday in Patna, the capital of Bihar. In the working committee meeting, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the BJP fiercely. He said that this meeting of CWC being held in Patna is very important. We are meeting at a time when India is going through a very challenging and worrying phase at both international and national levels. Today, when the voter list is being officially tampered with, it is necessary that we should repeat our vow to preserve the democracy and constitution of this country by organizing a meeting of our CWC in Bihar, the mother of democracy.
The Congress President said that the BJP formed the NDA government in Bihar by re -supporting Nitish Kumar in January 2024. The Nitish government promised development, but Bihar’s economy is lagging behind. The claim of ‘double engine’ proved to be hollow, no special package was received from the Center. The unemployment rate in Bihar is above 15 percent. Millions of youth migrate every year. Due to the recruitment scam, the youth agitate on the streets and eat police sticks.
He said that the condition of the farmers of Bihar is probably the worst in the country. Every year millions of people suffer losses from Kosi and Gandak rivers due to floods. This is evidence that the government has failed completely in flood management.
He called upon the attendees and said that the bugle of reconstruction of Bihar should be blown. The Congress party, along with its coalition parties, will provide employment, education, health, social justice and good governance to the people of Bihar. The people of Bihar have been dreaming of ‘Swarnim Bihar’ for a long time and we will all come together.
He said that Bihar assembly elections will prove to be a milestone not only for the state, but for the whole country.
