New Delhi, February 3 (). Under the India-US trade agreement, the tariff has been reduced to 18 percent. BJP MP Kiran Chaudhary supported the decision of the Central Government regarding trade deal and tariff and called it a diplomatic success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that this step is definitely in the interest of the country and its positive results will be seen in the times to come. Especially the pharma sector will get special benefit from this.
While talking to , he said that there was a time when the export sector was almost moving towards extinction, but now the situation is changing. Farmers will also get direct benefit from this decision, because they will be able to sell their products in the international market. Paddy is cultivated well in many areas of Haryana and this will prove to be a big opportunity for the farmers of such areas.
Kiran Chaudhary further said that in the current global circumstances, India is surrounded by challenges from all sides, where every country is giving priority to its interests. In such a situation, India will also have to think seriously about its interests. Praising Prime Minister Modi, he said that he is discharging his responsibilities with full devotion and efficiency. India’s diplomacy has become stronger and on the strength of this the country is moving towards becoming developed and self-reliant.
Kiran Chaudhary also hit back at the statement given by Congress, in which the party had alleged that the government has lost the agriculture sector and farmers will be devastated. Describing these allegations as misleading, he said that the entire agriculture sector has not been opened and Congress is deliberately working to spread confusion.
He said that this has been an old habit of the Congress, be it talking about the Constitution being in danger or issues like vote theft. The public has now understood that all this is just vote bank politics. Today the geo-political situation has completely changed and in this era India needs to move forward with utmost caution.
At the same time, BJP MP SP Singh Baghel, while reacting on the trade deal and tariff issue, said that it is the result of Prime Minister Modi’s patience, foresight and diplomacy that a country like America withdrew its decision related to tariff.
He said that this will further strengthen the mutual relations between the two countries and Indian exporters will get better benefits. SP Singh Baghel also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and said that he keeps giving irresponsible statements. He said that Rahul Gandhi is not able to discharge the dignity and responsibility of the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
